NATURAL ENEMIES FOR INTEGRATED CONTROL

(Contacts)

Integrated control is a broad concept that often does not include attention to natural enemies. Thus, when natural enemies have become a primary consideration in integrated control practice it is noteworthy of emphasis. It might be said that most biological control invariably involves considerations of genetics, climate, ecology and cultural or chemical practices; therefore it is difficult to define this category exactly. With this in mind, the references include those cases when special attention was paid to natural enemies. Special emphasis is on the earlier publications.  However, effective deployment of essential techniques invariably involves the presence of authorities in the process [Please refer also to bc-26.htm].
